I’m incredibly excited to announce that I’ll be presenting at the first annual Powerlifting Fundamentals Seminar at 212 Health & Performance on July 12, 2015, in Rumford, Rhode Island. This is officially my first “headlining” seminar and I couldn’t be more fired up to share my knowledge and passion for the sport of powerlifting.
Here’s the overview:
Powerlifting Fundamentals will provide attendees with over 3 hours of hands-on instruction from powerlifter and strength coach Tony Bonvechio, MS, CSCS.
An accomplished lifter with equal parts experience as a competitor, coach and student, Tony will share his knowledge on how to best perform and program the Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift so you can reach your greatest strength potential. Topics will include:
- Training philosophy
- Dynamic warm-up and mobility work
- Exercise technique
- Designing an effective strength training program
- Preparing for a powerlifting meet
Whether you’re new to powerlifting or a seasoned competitor, you can benefit from Tony’s knowledge as a coach and lifter.
