Technique Tuesday: 3 Cues to Improve Your Goblet Position

The goblet position is a go-to tool that works for countless exercises and people of any fitness level. A favorite for beginners, the goblet position helps strengthen the abs and lower back while taking stress off the shoulders. For that reason, we use it a ton with our baseball players at Cressey Sports Performance.

Even though it’s often a “beginner” tool, the goblet position often requires some coaching to fix common errors. This week’s Technique Tuesday shows you three of my favorite cues to dial in your goblet position. Check it out:
