Hey everyone, great news! My first article has been published on Stack.com. I’m pretty jacked up about it because Stack is a great source of training/nutrition information with some pretty notable contributors. In case you haven’t heard of Stack before, here’s the blurb from the “About Us” page:
STACK: WHERE ATHLETES GET BETTER
STACK is a multimedia company that provides credible and reliable information, tools and services to help active sports participants get better at the games they play and the lives they lead. Since its founding in 2005, STACK has continually launched new products and services to meet the needs of athletes and fitness enthusiasts, helping them improve not only their on-field performance but also their off the field lifestyle and entertainment habits.
Coming from a baseball background, I found it only fitting that my first article be about some strength exercises you can use to help improve throwing velocity. No surprises here – deadlifts, split squats, med ball throws and lateral jumps are my four go-to exercises to add gas to anyone’s fastball.
