I’ve started a series of case studies where we look at some of the lifters I work with, the challenges they’ve encountered in their training and how we’ve addressed those challenges. Our first case study looks at Tina’s switch to low bar squats and some of the trials and tribulations along the way.
Making subtle technique changes over time is part of being a successful powerlifter. Sometimes, attempts at technique changes will be unsuccessful, but that doesn’t mean you don’t try again further down the line. Tina’s journey from high bar to low bar squats is evidence of that, and the lessons we’ve learned along the way have helped us successfully transition more of our lifters to low bar squats.
